Budget Beauty – Top 5 Under £5 Beauty Must Haves | ✨

Hi lovelies! Hope you’re all doing well, as always.

Today I thought I’d share with you my top five cheap beauty products that I think everyone would benefit from having in their lives!

As a full time student with a part time job, I’m not always rolling in cash, so I understand the need for cheap, but great quality products! So here are a few of my faves:

This cream is honestly a life changer! I actually bought this when I had ran out of my Polaar Night Cream, and I wanted to try something cheap for a while before I could re-purchase the Polaar one, as it’s not cheap. So, after hearing loads of reviews of Superdrug’s Vitamin E range, I thought I’d give it a go. It is recommended for normal to dry skin, and my skin is oily. However, I find that my skin absorbs it so rapidly, there is no worry of excess oil or shine. I also don’t mind going to bed smothered in cream, so it’s not an issue for me. It is quite thick in consistency, but as I mentioned before I find that it absorbs rapidly, leaving no residue. The best thing about it is that I wake up in the morning and my skin is so soft and smooth, and I noticed a drastic change in my breakouts almost instantly when I started using it. It’s now a staple in my skincare routine, thank god I bought it by that one chance, and got to try it!

Similarly to the cream, this product is really nice. I use it under the Superdrug Vitamin E Night Cream, and also under my day cream as I’ve discovered my skin works brilliantly with Vitamin E and it helps to calm any breakouts I may be having, and balance my oiliness! It’s a little strange as these products are recommended for normal to dry skin, and my skin is very oily, but they honestly just work so perfectly with my skin, I love them! Sometimes, having oily skin, people don’t realise how dehydrated it can be, and therefore neglect their skincare routine. I think that these products from Superdrug’s Vitamin E range, in fact, after trying just these two things I would probably recommend the entire range, are perfect at delivering instant hydration, leaving soft, fresh, youthful skin. What more could we want?!

The Superdrug Vitamin E Skincare range is very often on buy one get second half price, too, so you can save even more money and still have perfect skin!

I found these eyelashes after watching a video by Sophdoesnails on YouTube and they looked just like demi wispies; my all time faves. So for the price, I had to give them a try. They arrived within 2 days I think it was, and I wasn’t disappointed. They’re one of the easiest lashes I have ever used to apply, they add length more than volume but for that reason could be used in a day time and night time look. I wore them for a day of cocktails in the sun, and no one could believe that they worked out at 20p per set of lashes! They’re really nice quality, and just as comparable to something you would find from the likes of Ardell or Eylure. Definitely a new a fave.

  • Makeup Revolution Renaissance Lipstick; £4.

Speaking of new faves; this lipstick thoooooo! Browsing through the Superdrug website back when they had their 3 for 2 across all makeup, I saw the new lipsticks from Makeup Revolution and instantly all I could think of was the Charlotte Tilbury lippies… how similar is the packaging?! We all know Makeup Revolution are well known for their dupes, so the glance at the packaging had me thinking this would be a dupe for the Charlotte Tilbury ones. I have never tried a CT one, but I have to say this Makeup Revolution one is incredible. It’s so cheap, yet so pigmented and buttery too. I have the shade “Class” which is a mid-deep burnt-orange colour and I get so many compliments on it. It’s so comfortable to wear, especially when you fancy a change from your lip-drying matte liquid lipsticks! They’re a satin finish and also smell faintly of coconut.

  • MUA Undress Your Skin Highlighter; £3

Not a new fave at all, pretty much an old fave and I know for a fact I’ve raved about it on my blog before, but it’s just so great? Since my last rant about it, there has been new colours released, but the iridescent gold will always be my fave. I honestly think this highlighter gives some of the most expensive ones a run for their money, and it’s literally £3. It’s insane, pigmented, blinding and everyone needs one, okay?!

I absolutely love this highlighter, unfortunately mine is looking a little worse for wear at the minute due to being carted around in travel and the lid is smashed… obviously that just means I can treat myself to a new one, right?

I’m pretty sure you could get all the items (except the lashes) mentioned above at a large Superdrug store, so go and have a look and treat yourself for under £20!

Superdrug, Makeup Revolution and MUA are ALL cruelty free. The lashes are synthetic, so I’m presuming they’re cruelty free too.

Thanks for reading lovelies! I hope you enjoyed this post.
